Description: Economics Student Society represents the interest and welfare of its members to the Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and to the University.

Common Room: WMC 2677Union Mandate:
Objectives of the union shall be:
a. To promote and represent student interests within the Economics Department.
b. To provide social and recreational activities for the membership.
c. To undertake projects and activities that enhance the education of the membership.
d. To undertake such other activities as the members may from time-to-time decide.
Automatic membership in the Economics Student Society shall be extended to SFSS members who are:
a. Declared Majors, Minors, and Honours students in the Economics Department.
b. Students who are currently enrolled in one or more undergraduate courses offered by the Economics Department. Note that this includes courses labelled Business Economics (BUEC).
