Description: The Software Systems Student Society represents the interest and welfare of its members to the Software Systems Program and to the University.

Union Mandate:

Objectives of the union shall be the following:

  1. The promotion of the interests of students within the Software Systems program and the School of Computing Science.
  2. The promotion of the interests of SSSS members within the Simon Fraser Student Society.
  3. The organization of activities of educational, entertainment, and career value, for members of the SSSS.
  4. The promotion of the SSSS and the interests of its members within the community at large.

Automatic membership shall be extended to:

  1. All students who are registered in the undergraduate program of Software Systems.
  2. All students who are currently enrolled in a CMPT course at Simon Fraser University's Surrey campus.

Honourary membership shall be extended to:

  • For a period of one year, by 2/3 majority vote at a general meeting, to individuals that have provided substantial service to the SSSS.
