CASIS Club
To provide a forum for students interested in intelligence studies, to discuss issues and details pertaining to CASIS Vancouver events. This increases academic engagement in open discussions.
Emerge SFU
Emerge strives to inspire students to explore a variety of new and valuable skills through a series of free workshops, teaching them concepts that they may not typically learn within their faculty. By combining these workshops with networking events, they can get a taste of what other potential career paths may look like and discover new passions.
Game Developers Club
To support game development at SFU. We strive to achieve this by fostering teamwork and networking among our members. We also provide resources to assist in project development such as organizational help and design assistance.
Hacking and Cybersecurity Club
To provide education in cybersecurity and hacking skills and to host events/competitions that allow the practice and learning of these skills in a safe environment, while ensuring the ethics and values of ethical hacking are upheld according to the ethical hacking code of ethics. Mainstream Youth Group
1.Make career-related information and resources more accessible to Chinese-speaking youth in Vancouver by hosting workshops and networking events. 2.Help youth to achieve their career goals by providing them with practical experiences from projects and work opportunities.
Pre-Law Society - SFU
The SFU Pre-Law Society is intended for all students who plan on pursuing a future career or education in law. The Pre-Law Society aims to connect students involved in the law school admission process through hosting meetings, events and information sessions.
Rehabilitative Therapy Club
We aim to help and support students who are looking to pursue careers in rehabilitative therapies (occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and respiratory therapy) by creating a support network for students wanting to pursue these professions, and in improving student awareness of these jobs.
SFU Astronautic Robotics
Design autonomous robotic systems for use in space.
SFU Global Security and Foreign Policy Club
The SFU Global Security and Foreign Policy Club engages its members in discussions about the modern world and its ever-changing landscape.
SFU Pre-Dental Society
Our club focuses on informing students interested in pursuing a future in dentistry on the application process; DAT, the pre-requisites, current entrance statistics, and various other qualities looked for in potential candidates, to inform as many students of as many possibilities open to them in the future.
SFU Surge
We are a community for students in tech to learn from industry professionals at conferences and talks, to hone skills and experience at large-scale hackathons and competitions, to network at events and workshops to enable community innovation, and to gain project experience working on software used by SFU students.
Speech and Hearing Club
This club is for prospective Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists who want to maximize their ability to get into graduate school.
STEM Fellowship
STEM Fellowship strives to engage future STEM leaders and innovators in data science and scientific communication.
VO1SS SFU
We aim to provide a platform to a diverse group of people regardless of their background, career goals, and orientation. We hope to reach the public through the stories we share and encourage people to connect with the individuals in our articles.
Young Women in Business SFU
YWiB SFU strives to engage leaders from all faculties through opportunities for personal and professional growth.
