Design Lab
A group of curious people using design and technology to improve the health sector.
Doctrina Health Society
Bringing together professionals and students in order facilitate education regarding various health topics. Creating various health related outreaches and volunteer opportunities in school and the community in order to engage and educate the population.
Game Developers Club
To support game development at SFU. We strive to achieve this by fostering teamwork and networking among our members. We also provide resources to assist in project development such as organizational help and design assistance.
Hack Lounge
The purpose of the club is to organize the environment for SFU students where they can improve programming skills and find other students to team up and attend various hackathons in BC and else where.
Mainstream Youth Group
1.Make career-related information and resources more accessible to Chinese-speaking youth in Vancouver by hosting workshops and networking events. 2.Help youth to achieve their career goals by providing them with practical experiences from projects and work opportunities.
Occupational Therapy Club
We aim to help and support students who are looking to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy as well as gain awareness about what the job entails, as it is a profession that is often unheard of.
Passion Club
SFU Passion Club is a chapter of Passion Foundation that aims to empower students by providing them with self-development and leadership tools. We host workshops, socials and events that engages students and helps them connect with like-minded individuals.
Pre-Law Society - SFU
The SFU Pre-Law Society is intended for all students who plan on pursuing a future career or education in law. The Pre-Law Society aims to connect students involved in the law school admission process through hosting meetings, events and information sessions.
Pre-Policing - SFU
Preparing and equiping all future law enforcement applicants with the skills and background to be successful in their career pursuits.
SFU Duke of Edinburgh's Award Club
This club is to provide a challenge for students and live the achievement of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Stand apart to employers with international recognition!
SFU Model NATO Club
We are prepping students for model NATO conferences in Washington DC and Ottawa. Students will also prepare for the 2018 SFU - NATO Field School which will see students visit NATO HQ in Belgium, NATO Defense College in Italy, and Canadian troops in Latvia. This club will prepare you for a career in diplomacy and defence.
SFU Networking Club (SFUNC)
The purpose of the club is to provide networking opportunities to students at SFU with different student groups/colleges and companies.
SFU PEER TUTORS
To provide one-on-one nonjudgmental assistance to students over most of the first year courses offered at SFU. To create an atmosphere where students feel they are receiving help from trusted friends and fellow peers who are able to understand matters from their viewpoint.
SFU Pre-Dental Society
Our club focuses on informing students interested in pursuing a future in dentistry on the application process; DAT, the pre-requisites, current entrance statistics, and various other qualities looked for in potential candidates, to inform as many students of as many possibilities open to them in the future.
Student Trade Center
Student Trade Center is a non-profit organization, which provides our SFU student with job and volunteer opportunities and information in their field that helps them to prosper in future. We also help students choose their concentration and future job by different topic workshops.
WebDxD - SFU
WebDxD stands for website design and development. We are a group of SFU geeks who love to create cool websites and web applications.
Young Women in Business SFU
YWiB SFU strives to engage leaders from all faculties through opportunities for personal and professional growth.
