Altered Reality Club
SFU's premiere gaming and nerd culture club. We serve as SFU's source for gaming and tabletop activities. We are dedicated to providing an environment where SFU students interested in video games, board games and tabletop RPG's (Dungeons&Dragons, Dark Heresy, Call of Cthulu etc.) can meet and discuss such topics as well as gain new friends.
Anime Club - SFU
To bring together like-minded students who wish to share their appreciation for anime and manga, and related interests/hobbies.
Aviation - SFU
To promote aviation within the SFU community.
Backpacking Club
To bring together a community of experienced hikers to tackle difficult and ambitious hikes, including those lasting for 2 or more days. Our focus is on providing the additional support, supplies, and planning required for these challenging but rewarding adventures.
Board Game Club
Play board games such as Coup, Deception, and Red Dragon Inn, among many other favorites. Also, for friendship.
Bowling 300
To provide an opportunity for students on campus to learn about the leisure activity of bowling and improve their skills through participation. We hope to make every interaction with this club a STRIKE!
Cardistry Club
We want to promote and to bring together those who are interested in card flourishing, otherwise known as the performing art form “Cardistry”.
Cloudlife Daily
A media based club, which aims at students interested in photography, designing and social media. By providing workshops and lectures and regular club events, we wish to create one of the best communities amongst students and to impart members with impressive memories and experience.
Collegiate Gaming Club
To provide a friendly, yet competitive community for those interested in mobile games.
DoTA2 Club
A club to meet fellow players that enjoy playing DoTA and DoTA2. All players noobs and veterans are welcome to join. We are willing to teach the game either in game or in a room with a projector. We will try to setup in house tournaments and watch tournaments together. Organizations: Please do not send us unsolicited mail for forwarding.
Hiking Club
To be up on a new mountaintop or leave footprints on a new hiking trail every chance that we get. And once we've exhausted every trail, park, terrain, peak, and forest in BC, we'll wake up one day and do it all over again.
Mahjong Club 中發白
Our mandate is to promote the spirit of Asia culture through the most traditional game from Asia, Mahjong. We will mainly focus on Hong Kong Mahjong and learn about Japan, Taiwan, Guangdong and Sichuan Mahjong.
Metal Club
To bring metal musicians together for the purpose of playing music and to discuss music theory within the metal community.
Parks Canada Campus Club
The mission of the SFU Parks Canada Campus Club is to bring together youth to experience, appreciate, protect, and promote Canada's natural and cultural heritage. All students are welcome!
Ping Pong Social
Our goal is to bring together a diverse group of students and others (of any skill level) who share an interest in the recreational play of table tennis. We’re a fun-loving group of people gathering to create a relaxing social atmosphere for everyone. Mingling with no fee and no hassles. Fun AND free? You can’t possibly argue with that.
Satellite Design Club
To discuss, design, plan, and build artificial satellites and their mission profiles.
SFU Apex Legends
1. Help SFU students find new people to play Apex Legends with. 2. Create a SFU Apex Legends collegiate team. 3. Help the Apex Legend community in metro Vancouver connect through online events.
SFU Befikre Dance Team
SFU Befikre (bae-fik-ray-carefree) Dance Team is a group inspired by South Asian dance styles and Bollywood free style.

This club aims at bringing together all the cricket enthusiasts at SFU for informative, entertaining and enjoyable events, discussions, get-togethers and light play.
SFU Electromaker
Our club mandate is to fostering interest in the field of electronics for students from various backgrounds. SFU Electromaker will provide students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a fun learning environment where materials and instruction are provided. It also assists students in developing their own devices in an innovative way.
SFU eSports Association
To serve as a unifying brand for various student led gaming communities across the region
SFU Fantasy Sports Club
This club is a hub for fantasy sports games such as fantasy basketball, fantasy football and fantasy hockey. Participants will register with the club and compete against others in our fantasy pools to show their sports knowledge. There will be prizes if funding permits it :)
SFU First Responders
To provide those with an interest in first aid with the opportunity to keep their skills up to date, train to improve them and meet others with similar interests as well as to gain practical experience through volunteer service. SFU Foosball organizes foosball events on campus, both casual and competitive.
SFU Overwatch C1uB
SFU Overwatch Club is a relax and fun club that invites all the SFU and FIC students who enjoy playing games together. Everyone is welcome to join. The club allows all Overwatch ,Blizzard Games, and all other video game players the opportunity to make new gaming friends by communicating through Facebook page and in events.
SFU Paintball
My mandate for this club is to promote paintball around the university and provide a unique environment for obtaining leadership skills, outdoor experience and teamwork. We will be organizing events each week or biweekly at Ambush Paintball to get a hands on experience. Hosting paintball fundraisers to support local organizations.
SFU Pokemon Go Official Group
Official campus trade/pvp/raid group! Doesn't matter what team you are on, come meet other players in the SFU community!
SFU Rhythm Games Club
We are a club that aims to gather rhythm game players together and create a community that allows players of all skill levels to feel welcomed, play together, and learn from each other.
SFU Robot Soccer
SFU’s first Robot Soccer club aims to combine the excitement of soccer with the future of automated technology as we compete in RoboCupSoccer. Our team encourages students from all programs to come together and learn concepts that are not taught in class and get hands-on experience with robotics, artificial intelligence, and teamwork.
SFU Rocketry
To research, design, and build rockets to compete in rocketry competitions and further the understanding and competency of SFU students in the field of engineering.

SFU Sports Analytics Club
Where data and sports come together. We aim to connect individuals interested in sports, data, or analysis to share ideas and opinions. As data is more prevalent and publicly available than ever, we promote the importance of usage of data to investigate sports-related issues in the light of improving performance and strategies.
SFU Tennis
SFU Tennis is a social club that focuses on bringing people together who share a passion for tennis. We encourage people from all levels of play to join us for club events, and ladder challenges. Ski and Snowboard Club
The Ski and Snowboard club is focused on bringing together the SFU shred community, regardless of abilities on the slopes! We're just a group of gnarly people looking for more gnarly people to be gnarly with! If you're looking for good times, and to make some turns on the slopes this season, this club is for you!
Smash Club
To provide a place for students to play the popular video game franchise Super Smash Bros., both competitively and casually.
Table Tennis @ SFU Surrey
We seek to facilitate student engagement and interdisciplinary interaction, as well as improve each individual's physical health, through the shared recreational activity of Table Tennis (Ping Pong).
Team Phantom: SFU Formula SAE Electric
The goal of this club is to compete in the Formula SAE Electric Competition. The club will do this by designing and creating a fully electric vehicle using engineering principles.
Technovus
Technovus is family of hardworking, pizza eating, solder infused dorks. We teach robotics workshops for all levels, host and compete in hackathons, hangout, and work on challenging projects. We learn from each other, share tools, make fun of each other, and grow together. Robotics, Inappropriate Jokes, Random Shenanigans, and Heart. That’s us.

The Study of Post-Modern Visual Arts Society
The Study of Post-Modern Visual Arts Society mandates that the Society studies, partakes, creates, enjoys, purchases, and utilizes the media, products, creations, and entertainment of the growing field of Post-Modern Visual Arts. The Society shall unite students and others alike with a unique method of engagement.
UPhoto Photography Club
Everyone who is interested in photography is welcome to join UPhoto. You don't have to be a professional photographer or own a fancy camera to participate in our events. Our goal is simple: to provide those who are interested in photography a platform to have fun and to learn skills from others!
