Anime Club - SFU
To bring together like-minded students who wish to share their appreciation for anime and manga, and related interests/hobbies.
Clean Smoke
We hope to provide education regarding the consequences of smoking cigarettes by presenting a more healthier option - such as vaporizers which has less toxins and chemicals compared to conventional cigarettes. We hope to encourage smokers to eventually desist from smoking cigarettes and find healthier alternatives.
Cloudlife Daily
A media based club, which aims at students interested in photography, designing and social media. By providing workshops and lectures and regular club events, we wish to create one of the best communities amongst students and to impart members with impressive memories and experience.
DoTA2 Club
A club to meet fellow players that enjoy playing DoTA and DoTA2. All players noobs and veterans are welcome to join. We are willing to teach the game either in game or in a room with a projector. We will try to setup in house tournaments and watch tournaments together. Organizations: Please do not send us unsolicited mail for forwarding.
FIFA@SFU
FIFA@SFU is a club for FIFA fanatics and we will promote the playing of FIFA games. your skill level does not matter, we want to encourage the playing of FIFA regarding the skill levels of a person. if you consider yourself a fan of Football/Soccer come on out and join us. tournaments will be held monthly and yearly.
G-One Dance -Bollywood Dance Team
SFU Bollywood Dance Team is a place to enjoy the vibrant culture of Bollywood Dance. G-One is a Dance group inspired by Bollywood freestyle. We gather together to create and practice dance routines on our favourite Hindi songs.
Health Ethics Club
We foster community among students in Heath Sciences as well as other faculties, and enhance moral leadership at SFU. We also promote critical thinking and dialogue around complex health issues and liaise with health organizations and researchers in order to help further ethical policy-making and practice.
Hiking Club
To be up on a new mountaintop or leave footprints on a new hiking trail every chance that we get. And once we've exhausted every trail, park, terrain, peak, and forest in BC, we'll wake up one day and do it all over again.
LangRenSha Club
"LangRenSha" is a very popular board game nowadays. We want to provide a stage for the lovers in SFU, to give their chance to perform in this game. We will hold the activity once a week to play this game.
League of Legends Club - SFU
The purpose of this group is to provide League of Legends Events for SFU students to enjoy. We will host a variety of events and tournaments. Our goal is to facilitate a forum of discussion and to raise awareness of the League of Legends community in the area of Greater Vancouver.
Movie Night Club
Warning: Not a night club about movies! We are a club that hosts movie nights.
Music Production Club
Collecting SFU students interested in music production, DJing, and management to collaborate and give feedback - fostering a creative, productive community.
Ping Pong Social
Our goal is to bring together a diverse group of students and others (of any skill level) who share an interest in the recreational play of table tennis. We’re a fun-loving group of people gathering to create a relaxing social atmosphere for everyone. Mingling with no fee and no hassles. Fun AND free? You can’t possibly argue with that.
Poker Club - SFU
SFU Poker provides a community for SFU students to practice and play the game of poker. We encourage people of all skill levels to come out regardless of experience, this is a good opportunity to learn the basics. Many tournaments are held throughout the year with great prizes!
Recital Society
To provide performance opportunities for student musicians and foster a musical environment where people can socialize and share a common interest.
Satellite Design Club
To discuss, design, plan, and build artificial satellites and their mission profiles.

To engage in birding and bird-related activities such as bird watching, bird education, and more.

To create a social group for existing climbers at SFU, and to introduce the sport of rock climbing to the students of SFU.

To promote the game of cribbage on campus. Introduce our hobby to newcomers and provide a means for enthusiasts of the game to interconnect.

SFU Equestrian Club
To promote and facilitate the strength, unity and knowledge base of SFU student, faculty, and alumni equestrians of all disciplines and skill levels.

To serve as a unifying brand for various student led gaming communities across the region
SFU Fishing Society
To encourage and teach awareness of safe and sustainable fishing practices while bringing the SFU community together.
SFU Formula 1 Electric
The goal of this club is to compete in the 2018 Formula 1 Electric Competition. The club will do this by designing and creating a fully electric vehicle using engineering principals.
SFU Overwatch C1uB
SFU Overwatch Club is a relax and fun club that invites all the SFU and FIC students who enjoy playing games together. Everyone is welcome to join. The club allows all Overwatch ,Blizzard Games, and all other video game players the opportunity to make new gaming friends by communicating through Facebook page and in events.
SFU Robot Soccer
SFU’s first Robot Soccer club aims to combine the excitement of soccer with the future of automated technology as we compete in RoboCupSoccer. Our team encourages students from all programs to come together and learn concepts that are not taught in class and get hands-on experience with robotics, artificial intelligence, and teamwork.
SFU Skateboarding Club
Mission: To offer a fun, safe environment for all levels of skateboarding and to progress club members’ skills through peer education and support.
SFU Sports Analytics Club
Where data and sports come together. We aim to connect individuals interested in sports, data, or analysis to share ideas and opinions. As data is more prevalent and publicly available than ever, we promote the importance of usage of data to investigate sports-related issues in the light of improving performance and strategies.
SFU Starcraft
To train a Starcraft team to represent SFU in the CSL esports league, and to promote Starcraft at SFU by running student viewing, competition, and barcraft events.
SFU Tennis
The SFU Tennis Club is a social club that focuses on bringing people together who share a passion for tennis. We encourage people from all levels of play to join us for club events, fundraisers, and ladder challenge. We offer opportunities for our members to improve by offering coaching. We are also on social platforms: Facebook and Instagram!

Ski and Snowboard Club
The Ski and Snowboard club is focused on bringing together the SFU shred community, regardless of abilities on the slopes! We're just a group of gnarly people looking for more gnarly people to be gnarly with! If you're looking for good times, and to make some turns on the slopes this season, this club is for you!
Table Tennis @ SFU Surrey
We seek to facilitate student engagement and interdisciplinary interaction, as well as improve each individual's physical health, through the shared recreational activity of Table Tennis (Ping Pong).

Technovus is all about having fun and learning technical skills in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering. We are a group of students dedicated to creating a vibrant and welcoming community that fosters creativity and innovation through hands on projects, workshops, and hackathons. The Go Club
To bring people together with the game of Go! Go is a strategy board game played by two people. The winner is decided by the amount of territory. Traditionally Go has been played in China, Japan, and Korea.

The Study of Post-Modern Visual Arts Society
The Study of Post-Modern Visual Arts Society mandates that the Society studies, partakes, creates, enjoys, purchases, and utilizes the media, products, creations, and entertainment of the growing field of Post-Modern Visual Arts. The Society shall unite students and others alike with a unique method of engagement.
UPhoto Photography Club
Everyone who is interested in photography is welcome to join UPhoto. You don't have to be a professional photographer or own a fancy camera to participate in our events. Our goal is simple: to provide those who are interested in photography a platform to have fun and to learn skills from others!
