Canadianized Asian Club (CAC)
Our goal as a student-led non-profit organization is to enhance student’s university experience, placing our membership body first. We strive to build an inclusive community that engages students through a variety of activities and events. We encourage students to join our executive committee to further their experience.
Chess Club - SFU
For everyone who enjoys playing chess or wants to learn it! Meet every Friday at 4:45 PM, WMC 2533
Chinese Supporter and Dedicator Association
Our club will focus on providing free services to Chinese students. The services are not only about giving necessary knowledge and useful suggestion, but also helping them in daily life, for example, introducing new friend to students according to their same major or hobby, and group them to be successful.
Enactus SFU
To encourage entrepreneurship on our campuses and in the community through our various programs. We consider the relevant economic, social and environmental factors to effectively empower people in need by applying business and economic concepts and an entrepreneurial approach to improve their quality of life and standard of living.
Horror Movie Club
This club is for all horror-movie lovers! An entertaining way to meet new students, enjoy snacks and drinks, and watch great horror movies for FREE every last Friday of each month.
Kin Games SFU
A passionate group of BPK undergraduate students who wish to attend the Kinesiology Games, the largest student-run Kinesiology conference in Canada. This event is held annually in March at a different host university providing students the opportunity to travel to various cities and campuses around Canada. Creating a stronger student community.
Latin Dance Passion - SFU
The goal of Latin Dance Passion is to provide salsa and bachata dance lessons for students in a friendly environment, and at an affordable rate. We also make frequent outings to Latin dance events around Metro Vancouver to engage with the local Latin dance community.
LIT Events
By providing opportunities of student recreation and formal academic events, SFU students are expected to enjoy and learn from the meaningful and impressive social activities. Meanwhile, we are willing to make the most of our experience and knowledge to make a positive impact on the whole student society.
Love Caravan SFU
We are aiming to establish a club to provide students with opportunities of going to senior housings to perform traditional or modern arts from their cultures (music, dance, poem and other instrumental pieces) to the seniors and engage in culture-sharing activities with them.
Malaysia Singapore Students Club
To provide a social club for Malaysian and Singapore students and those interested in the related cultures of these countries.
Personal Electric Vehicle Club
Our goal is to encourage students to build personal electric vehicles, for personal transportation to and from major transport hubs. The club focuses on this as well as creating a community around the vehicles ensuring every one has a safe and friendly community to ride with.
Reconnect Social Club
This club is focused on a variety of social activites, both indoor and outdoor, which will run without any alcohol or drug use. This is to ensure real relationships and friendships are being created, and not being built on weak “common ground” like substance abuse.
SFU Club of Knowledgeable Youngsters (Short: SKY)
our club want to build a platform that everyone can share and learn from others by collecting knowledge and experiences from students and leaving it to the new generalization. We are also intent to offer a guide for new comers of SFU and Canada with detailed guideline from the basic information of school to the interest points near Vancouver;
SFU Social Activities Society (SAS)
As the SFU Social Activities Society, our aim is to enhance the university experience by encouraging SFU students to be more socially engaged while having fun. We want to provide a variety of events and social gatherings that will cater to everyone. Our promise to our club members is that we will strive to make them feel appreciated and included.
Social Games Club
The reason we build this club is we want to provide a place which can encourage students express their own feelings and make clsose connection to each other during the social games. Also, during the social games students’ can learn a lot. For example, their communicational abilities and skills can be improved.
Taiwanese Association - SFU
We are the bridge between Canada and Taiwan. We promoting Taiwanese culture on our campus and the greater Vancouver area.
Women in Clean Tech
An SFU-Surrey based club that works to promote and educate others about sustainable technology, and connect women who are passionate about clean technology with each other and those who support them. While the focus of this club is to connect and support the female student body interested in this field, all are welcome to join.
