25toLife
To support Canadian Cancer Society, relying on donations and volunteer help, we strive to increase awareness about cancer and raise funds for Canadian Cancer Society through a series of social events. Included in our agreement with Canadian Cancer Society 100% of the funds donated by our club are directed to actual research; not administration.
Association for Critical and Interdisciplinary Thinking (ACIT)
ACIT connects motivated and open-minded people with interdisciplinary interests. It serves as a network between students from different universities and different academic backgrounds. At our SFU branch, we are dedicated to promoting social impact through workshops and fundraisers.
Best Buddies
Best Buddies – Vrais Copains Canada is a national charitable organization dedicated to enhancing our communities through one-to-one friendships between people with intellectual disabilities and students.
Better Life
“Better Life” at SFU aims for raising awareness for critical issues such as food and clothing waste in the SFU community, and broader Vancouver area. Better Life hopes to educate, motivate and initiate collective reductions in food waste, in addition to increasing food, clothing, and money donations to those in need.
Brain in Mind
To empower, educate and support citizens living with common brain disorders such as epilepsy, and support research to make their lives better.
Canadian Cancer Society - SFU
Through a small group of motivated and passionate students, we help raise awareness of different types of cancers through awareness themed months. We also organize and host one of SFU’s biggest cancer related fundraisers, Relay for Life! Through these efforts, all proceeds are given directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Helping Others Play Equally ( H.O.P.E.)
We want to remove the stigma around special needs kids and want to raise awareness of the various conditions that these kids are diagnosed with. We strive to create an environment, where someone's condition does not limit how they should behave and interact with others.
Impact SFU
Impact SFU is a Surrey-based club that promotes student engagement and leadership through a variety of campus events including study sessions, de-stress events, and personal development. Funds raised by Impact SFU are donated to the Beautiful World Canada Foundation.

Mission - To raise funds and awareness for the special olympics. Strategy - Social events and fundraisers will be held to achieve that. Vision- To empower young Canadians to be leaders in their communities and share the love of play with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Musician Impact Network Society - Simon Fraser University Chapter (MINS SFU)
MINS is a registered BC non-profit, non-governmental organization with the mission to enhance the lives of vulnerable populations in times of need and foster a culture of community service by musicians. MINS provides free, quality music performances to Non-Profit Health Care Facilities including Residential Care Facilities and Hospitals.
Red Cross Club - SFU
We aim to connect SFU students to the Canadian Red Cross, raising both awareness and funds for Red Cross programs. We also strive for further humanitarian involvement within our community through volunteering and community-based projects.
SFU Diabetes
We aim to educate the SFU Community on the importance of understanding and supporting those who are Type 1 and Type 2 diabetic. Attending different seminars, raising money for diabetic foundations, are all central goals of this club.

SFU Wish Youth Network Society
SFU Wish Youth Network Society strives to provide emotional and financial support to youth with serious medical conditions as well as their families, fostering a community of optimism and support, and empower youth through community engagement and fundraising.
Students For Humanity
This humanitarian organization welcomes anyone and everyone. We will spread positive energy, help those in need, and we will not discriminate while dong so. We will provide aid, relief, assistance, promote health and well-being, and address health-related issues. One person can care for a few people, but together, we can heal humanity.
Variety for Tomorrow - SFU
We host events throughout the year to fundraise on behalf of Variety - the Children’s Charity. All of our proceeds support children with special needs in British Columbia. We also offer the opportunity to volunteer at some of Variety’s events, such as the Show of Hearts Telethon, Boat for Hope and their Christmas parties.
